On Monday, September 7th, at 9:00 am in the Lappeenranta University of Technology (Student Union House Auditorium), has been inaugurated the Modeling Clinic for Industrial Mathematics/European Study Group with Industry ESCI 112.

The meeting, organized by MODCLIM project, will last until Friday September 11th and the workshop venue and program is available in the following link. Thirty two PhD students and teachers will attend to this event, coming from MODCLIM partner universities, russian universities, african universities and indian universities.

After the inaguration, each expert has presented the topics to be developed in specific workshops along the week, which are the following:

  • Solar farm modeling (ULPGC)
  • Mathematical modeling of displacements and thermal sptresses in anisotropic materials in cooling (CSC)
  • How to measure the intra-ocular pressure (WrUT)
  • Thrusters with additional stators (CEID/Elomatic)
  • Non-aerobic water purification reactor (LUT)
  • Performance of a pn junction in a solar cell (Catania)
  • Detection and compensation of Vortex Induced Vibrations (FMC/SPbSTU)

Further information about the problems proposed.
