MODCLIM Training School 2015 will be held at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria from 16 to 27 of March. In this first event will be involved 21 students and 6 lecturers from the partner universities, and the lecture topics and scheduling are the following:

On the first week, 16-20 March:

    1. Introduction to continuum mechanics with application to the medical treatment of eye (corneal topography).

    2. Modelling and optimization of wind farms/ solar farms.

On the second week, 23-27 March :

    3. Mathematical models for semiconductor industry.

        Dr. Vittorio Romano - Università di Catania

    4. Ecomathematics, mathematical models in ecology/ environmental engineering.

        Dr. Virpi Junttila - Lappeenranta University of Technology.
