MODCLIM Training School 2016 will be held at the University of Catania, Italy, from 14 to 27 of February. This is the third event organized under the MODCLIM Project, and it will involve to 17 students and 4 lecturers from the partner universities. The program of the Training School 2016 is the following:

On the first week, 15-19 February:

     1. Extracting information from data: Principal component analysis, robustness, and outlier detection.

        Dr. M. Rosário Oliveira - Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon.

    2. Image Analysis. Focus on image restoration based on variational models.

        Dr. Susana Serna - Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

and the compact courses on the second week, February 22-26, are:

    3. Smoothed particle hydrodynamics for non Newtonian fluids and applications.

        Dr. Giuseppe Bilotta - Università di Catania

    4. Dynamic Networik optimization and applications in civil security.

        Dr. Jan Ohst - Universität Koblenz-Landau.
